IRVINE, Calif. – Due to COVID-related health and safety protocols, UC San Diego announced changes today to their upcoming men’s basketball schedule. The Tritons will be unable to finish the regular season slate, canceling their home game against Cal Poly, scheduled for Thursday, March 2, and an away contest at Cal State Fullerton originally slated for Saturday, March 4.
These games shall be declared no contest in accordance with The Big West force majeure procedures. Seeding for The 2023 Hercules Tires Big West Basketball Championships, presented by The Hawaiian Islands will be determined by winning percentage in Big West contests, regardless of total number of games played.
