• CSUN center Dorottya Telek compiled eight goals and led CSUN to a 2-0 week to win The Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week award. It is Telek's second career weekly honor, having won it once last season.
• The sophomore tied a school and career record with seven goals, leading the Matadors to a 13-9 win, Saturday at Cal Lutheran.
• In the nightcap, Telek recorded a goal, assist, a field block and drew three exclusions as CSUN defeated Concordia 12-9.
