• Utility Tara Prentice led No. 6 UC Irvine to a pair of road wins over No. 4 Cal and Cal State East Bay with nine total goals to earn The Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week. It is her fifth time this season and eighth time in her career she has won the conference's weekly honor. No one in Big West history has had more than two in a season and five in a career.
• At No. 4 Cal, the graduate student from Temecula posted a career-high seven goals to go along with five drawn exclusions, one steal and two field blocks, leading the Anteaters to a 14-13 overtime upset win.
• With two more scores in a 19-8 win over Cal State East Bay, Prentice matched the all-time scoring record in program history with 224 goals.
