• In UC Irvine's lone game of the week, utility Tara Prentice posted five goals in a win at UC Santa Barbara, 16-8, to earn The Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week. It is her fourth time this season and seventh career weekly honor. No one in the conference's history has had more than two in a season and five in a career.
• It was Prentice's sixth career game with at least five goals as she surpassed 200 career goals.
• The Anteaters improve to a 2-0 mark in conference play.
