Women’s Water Polo Player of the Week

• Ciara Franke led UC San Diego to a win over Long Beach State in a conference matchup to earn The Big West Women’s Water Polo Player of the Week. It is her third time in her career that she has won the weekly honor as she received the award once each during the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
• The San Diego native scored three goals to record her ninth hat trick of the season, and also had four steals as the Tritons defeated the Beach 10-9.
• The Tritons improved to a 2-0 mark in conference play.
