UC Irvine's Tara Prentice Wins Weekly Honor for Fifth Time in Career

• UC Irvine utility player Tara Prentice recorded seven goals, one assist, four drawn exclusions, two steals and one field block in two wins to earn The Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week honor for the fifth time in her career. She previously won the award once each during the 2018, 2019 and 2020 seasons, and was the first weekly winner earlier this season. 

• The graduate student from Temecula, Calif. scored a career-high six goals along with two steals, one field block and four drawn exclusions as UC Irvine defeated Loyola Marymount 13-9 Thursday. 

• On Saturday, Prentice scored one goal and was credited with the assist on another as the Anteaters got the 19-5 win against CSUN in a Big West matchup.
