• A dominant display of power led to Hawai‘i senior Dustin Demeter earning the Big West Baseball Field Player of the Week award.
• Demeter produced four doubles and three home runs among his 11 hits to lead the Rainbow Warriors to a series win at Cal State Fullerton last weekend.
• Hitting from the 3 hole, Demeter posted back-to-back career-high 6 RBI games on Saturday and Sunday, and finished the series with 14 driven in.
• He also scored five times, ultimately contributing to 19 of the 32 runs UH scored over the four games.
• Demeter hit .579 (11-for-19) and had a 1.263 slugging percentage. He collected four hits in each of the last two games.
• In Saturday’s 16-8 game two doubleheader win, Demeter posted his first career multi-home run game, finishing 4-for-6 and became the first UH player with six RBI since 2019.
• The designated hitter slugged his third homer of the series – and sixth in the last 10 games – a two-run shot in the fifth of Sunday’s 8-2 victory.

• UC Santa Barbara junior Michael McGreevy garnered his second Big West Baseball Pitcher of the Week accolade this season with a near record performance against Cal Poly.
• McGreevy struck out a career-high 15 with no walks in Friday’s 4-1 victory at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium.
• The right-hander logged 8.0 innings and yielded just two hits and one run to improve to 6-1 on the season.
• The 15 punchouts came up just one short of tying the program’s single-game record.
• McGreevy fanned at least one batter in each of his eight innings, including multiple strikeouts in the first six. He struck out the side in the third inning.
• Only one Cal Poly player reached base on McGreevy as Tate Samuelson homered in the second inning and singled in the fifth.
