In a game delayed eight hours due to COVID-19 protocols, No. 5 seed Long Beach State outlasted No. 4 UC Davis in first round Women's Water Polo Championship action at Canyonview Aquatic Center on the campus of UC San Diego.
The Beach advances to play top-seeded Hawai'i at 1:00 p.m. PT/10:00 a.m. HT in the first of two scheduled semifinal matchups. The other game will feature No. 3 UC Irvine against No. 2 UC San Diego at 4:00 p.m. PT.
