MEN'S GOLFER OF THE MONTH - MARCH

•  Long Beach State's Hunter Epson won the Men's Golfer of the Month after leading the Beach to two top five finishes.

• Epson competed in two of the three tournaments, starting with a 9-under par (72-67-68) at the Sacramento State Invitational, good for a tie for third place individually.

• He followed that up with a 13th place showing at the Bandon Dunes Championships, leading LBSU with an even par (69-70-74) performance.

• This is Epson's second straight Golfer of the Month award of the 2021 season.

WOMEN'S GOLFER OF THE MONTH - MARCH
MADISON WOOD, UC DAVIS

• Madison Wood of UC Davis earned the Women's Golfer of the Month award for March after an impressive showing over the Aggies' three tournaments.

• Wood started the month at UCD's Gunrock Invitational, finishing 1-under (70-72-73) in a tie for 15th at that was better than all but two Big West competitiors.

• She then finished in a tie for 26th (78-78-72) at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational, using a final-round 72 to jump 19 spots on the final leader board.

• Wood saved her best performance for last as she won the Anuenue Spring Break Invitational in Maui. Her first career win featured a three-day total of 214 (71-70-73), which was a career 54-hole best.
