• UC Irvine sophomore attacker Jensine Bugelli collected her first career Big West Women’s Water Polo Player of the Week award after helping the Anteaters to a 2-0 start to the 2021 season.
• Bugelli scored her first career goals in a doubleheader against California Baptist. She tied for the team high lead with two goals in the season-opening 11-5 victory.
• Bugelli then recorded a hat trick with a career-high and team-best three goals against the Lancers in a 16-3 victory.
• Bugelli’s five goals led the Anteaters as the team outscored California Baptist by a combined 27-8 margin.
