• UC Davis sophomore Sophia Noble posted a career-high save total in an upset win over a top 10 opponent, earning her Big West Women’s Water Polo Player of the Week accolades.

• Noble put up a career-high 17 saves against No. 7 Michigan to lead the Aggies to an 11-6 win at the Stanford Invite.

• Allowing only six goals, Noble made a key stop on a five-meter penalty at 1:23 in the first quarter to keep the game tied at 1-1, and went on to record another two saves to end the half with a 5-3 UC Davis lead.

• Of the 17 saves – which are tied for No. 6 in UC Davis history for a single game – six came in the first period alone.

• Noble kept the Wolverines from scoring more than two goals in any given quarter, holding them to their fewest number of goals scored in countable games other than a 12-4 loss to then-No. 5 UCLA on Jan. 25.

• Noble also snagged a couple of steals in the contest.
