UC Davis senior Sammy Preston (Huntington Beach, Calif./Huntington Beach HS) earned Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week accolades after scoring a hat trick in a conference win.
Preston notched the three goals in the 8-7 victory over No. 15 Long Beach State. She also collected one assist and one drawn exclusion.
The Aggies are now 16-7 overall and 1-0 in the Big West.
