No. 11 UC Davis Takes First-Round Win Over CSUN

Fourth-seeded UC Davis and third-seeded Long Beach State each won their respective games to advance to the semifinal round of the Big West Conference women's water polo championship tournament at Schaal Aquatics Center Friday. The Aggies defeated CSUN, 12-7, while the 49ers edged UC Santa Barbara in a 7-6 overtime thriller.

Third-seeded Long Beach State Spurs the Gauchos In Overtime to Advance to Semifinals

After playing a six-overtime game just two weeks ago, Long Beach State and UCSB met again on Friday afternoon, this time in the first round of the Big West Conference Tournament. These teams must like to play extra minutes because the matchup resulted in OT again, but this time no sudden death was needed. The Beach got a goal from Annabel Harman in the first three-minute overtime period to take down the Gauchos 7-6 and advance to the semifinals.
