UCSB's Jome, CSUN's Lev-Ari Earn Soccer America Accolades

Ismaila Jome (UCSB) and Sagi Lev-Ari (CSUN) earned accolades from Soccer America

A pair of All-Big West players earned postseason distinction from Soccer America, as announced by the organization Wednesday.

2013 Big West Freshman of the Year Ismaila Jome of UC Santa Barbara was the only Big West player to earn a nod on the Soccer America All-Freshman squad, taking first-team honors.  In an impressive first season, Jome has also been named to the All-Big West First Team, NSCAA All-Far West Region First Team, and the Top Drawer Soccer and College Soccer News All-Freshman teams.  Read more from UCSBGauchos.com here.

The Big West's leading goal scorer in his only two seasons in the league, Sagi Lev-Ari of Cal State Northridge was named Soccer America MVPs Second Team.  Netting 16 goals in the 2013 season, Lev-Ari was also named All-Big West First Team as well as NSCAA All-America First Team.  Read the GoMatadors.com release here.
