The utility player did the bulk of her damage for the week against the 49ers, accounting for five of SDSU's six goals in a 6-5 victory.  In addition to scoring a game-high four goals, she assisted on another as her direct involvement in five Aztec goals matched Long Beach State's goal production for the game.  She also added an assist and a steal to help the Aztecs move to 3-1 in Big West play.

The Aztecs then recorded victories against Redlands (12-5) and Brown (11-5) at the Aztec Mini.  After a quiet stint against Redlands, Moreno produced three goals on four shot attempts and assisted on two more goals.

For the week, Moreno scored a team-high seven goals to go along with three assists and one steal.

Others nominated:  Marisa Young (Cal State Northridge)
