UC Davis sophomore Carmen Eggert (San Rafael, Calif./Marin Catholic HS) scored 11 goals to help her team post a 4-0 record at the Aggie Shootout as she earned Big West Women’s Water Polo Player of the Week accolades.

Eggert shined in the Aggies’ 12-8 victory versus Cal State East Bay with four goals, three steals, three drawn exclusions and two five-meter penalty shots.  She had a key block against a Pioneer to protect a two-goal lead.  On the very next possession, the attacker drew a five-meter and converted the penalty shot to start a 5-0 Aggie run.

Eggert also scored two goals against Somona State and Santa Clara, and posted a hat trick versus Pacific.
