Pacific freshman Elise Martin accounted for one-third of the team's offense as the Tigers posted a 3-1 record at the Aztec Invitational, earning her Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week honors.
Martin was the leading scorer for the Tigers in three of the four tournament games. She scored a career-high five goals in Pacific's 9-6 win versus No. 18 UC San Diego. The utility player added a hat trick in a tough 8-7 loss to No. 10 San Jose State.
In a 6-3 triumph against Cal State Bakersfield, Martin notched a pair of goals and added three assists.
For the week, Martin tallied 10 goals, seven assists, three steals and five field blocks. She ranks second on the team in goals (27), assists (21) and steals (20), and leads the team in field blocks with 15.
