Cal State Northridge junior Whitney Delgado (Thousand Oaks, Calif./Thousand Oaks HS) earned Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week for her 12 goals in three victories at the Cal Baptist Invitational.

Delgado led the Matadors in scoring in all three games as they defeated Azusa Pacific (17-6), Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (12-5) and Concordia (16-10).  The attacker scored a season-high five goals against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and posted four versus Concordia and three against Azusa Pacific.

She also collected seven assists for the week, including five helpers against Azusa Pacific.

Delgado has scored a team-best 16 goals in seven games this season.  Her 131 career goals in two-plus seasons already ties her for fourth place all-time at CSUN with Erica Bonetti (2003-06).
