UC Irvine senior Gianna Rossi (Fresno, Calif./Central HS) was instrumental in keeping the Anteaters undefeated in conference play, earning Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week honors.

The driver scored a hat trick in the Anteaters' 11-10 overtime victory against No. 16 UC Santa Barbara.  The Anteaters improved to 4-0 in league play with the win.  Rossi also scored four goals in a 11-6 non-conference victory against Cal Baptist.

The seven goals for the week gave Rossi 60 for the year, which ranks third all-time in a single season at UC Irvine.  She has scored 185 career goals and has currently scored in 14 straight matches.
