Three Swim Clubs Compete in Early November Action
The second weekend in November has three clubs competing in meets, but two of them will face off in head-to-head action.

Cal State Northridge and UC Santa Barbara will be joined by UC San Diego for a tri-meet at Campus Pool in Santa Barbara. It will be CSUN's second meet involving a member of the Big West as the team competed in the Cal Poly Shootout last weekend.

A late addition to the schedule is also on tap as the UC Davis men and diving teams take on Fresno Pacific at home. It will be the fourth consecutive home meet for the Aggies to start the 2009-10 season.

Previously in the Big West

Cal Poly and Cal State Northridge each took part in the highlight event of last week, the Cal Poly Shootout. The host Mustangs were the big winners as both clubs easily took victories against the other teams in action. On the men’s side, Cal Poly topped CSUN, 86-19, and Cal Lutheran, 96-9. The women’s results saw the Mustangs down CSUN, 89-22, Pepperdine, 81-32, and Cal Lutheran, 102-10.

Pacific was home for a meet over the weekend against Denver, its lone matchup of the week. The Tiger men lost by a count of 159-98, while the women also fell to the Pioneers by a 150-103 final.

UC Davis also faced off against Denver last weekend, splitting the two competitions against DU. The men’s team won by a final of 160-135, while the Aggie women fell by a count of 191-109.
