UCSB junior Pat Cary earned an NCAA consideration standard with his time of 1:48.56 in the 200 fly versus Arizona State last weekend.
In the final day of the 2007 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships at the University Aquatic Center in Minneapolis, Minn., UC Santa Barbara's Senior Pat Cary walked away with All-America accolades after finishing eighth in the 200 fly with a time of 1:44.55. Earlier in the day, Cary broke a school record in the prelims with a 1:44.15 mark.

UC Irvine's Eddie Erazo finished 12th in the 100 fly with a time of 1:45.06 in the Anteaters final event of the meet. Erazo tied his UCI record in the prelims with a time 1:44.52. Senior Eric Reilly finished 49th in the 100 free with a time of 44.56. Senior Dan Simonsen took 32nd in the 200 breast with a time of 2:03.73.

The 25th place team finish is the second highest finish for the Anteaters at the NCAA Division I Championships with a 23rd place finish in 1990. UC Irvine finished with more points at the Championships than any other mid-major school in the country. The Anteater men won three NCAA Division II Championships in 1969, 1970 and 1971.

Pacific junior Wojciech Betlej competed in the 200 back and recorded a time of 1:45.91, earning him 31st place.
