Brian Edick (Valencia, Calif./Hart HS) is adding a solid start to 2005 to his laundry list of accolades garnered in 2004. The November 2004 Big West Male Golfer of the Month earned himself the first spring honor as February Male Golfer of the Month after leading all Big West players in the PING-Arizona Intercollegiate. Edick finished seventh overall with a 3-under 210, matching the tournament low with his career-best 6-under 65 on the final round in the 16-team field.
UC Irvine junior Angela Won (Irvine, Calif./University HS) locked down February's Big West Female Golfer of the Month award after shooting the lowest round at the Bay Area Classic with a 3-under 69 and launching herself to a tie for third place in the 13-team tourney. The 69 matched her career-best mark set in November 2003 and helped lift the Anteaters to a fifth-place tie at the tourney.
