CSF's Windsor and Cal Poly's Berglund Earn Big West Baseball Weekly Honors

Cal Poly sophomore Bret Breglund (Littleton, Colo.) was named Big West Player of the Week. The Mustang first baseman was the extra-inning hero in two of the team's three victories against Cal State Northridge. Berglund homered in each of the three games including the game-winner in the 11th inning in game one and an inside-the-park round-tripper in game three in the 10th inning. For the week he went 6-for-14 (.429) with three runs scored and four RBI, including a double and a stolen base.

Cal State Fullerton senior Jason Windsor (Saratoga, Calif.) was named Big West Pitcher of the Week. The Titan right-hander hurled his fifth consecutive complete game and second career shutout in a 3-0 win over UC Irvine. Windsor allowed just five hits and struck out eight batters with no walks. He allowed a pair of hits in the first inning, but then retired 19 of the next 20 batters.
