UC Riverside junior Brendan Steele (Idyllwild, Calif.) was named Big West Golf Male Athlete of the Month after two top-10 finishes in November. Steele placed third at the Turtle Bay Intercollegiate with a 218 three-round score. He finished ninth at the Del Walker Intercollegiate in Long Beach, Calif., with a 212 total score. He shot a 70 in rounds two and three after 72 first-round score. It marks the second time this season Steele has been named Golf Athlete of the Month.

UC Irvine sophomore Angela Won (Irvine, Calif.) was named Big West Golf Female Athlete of the Month after her second top-10 finish of the season at the Kent Youel Invitational. Won shot a 221 in three rounds, including a 72 in the final round. Despite placing 35th at the Las Vegas Collegiate Shootout, Won fired a 69 in the second round, which was her lowest career round.
