Kevin Rorke is in his third season with The Big West, and first as the Associate Commissioner for Business and Finance. As the Associate Commissioner for Business and Finance, Rorke is the lead on all conference-related budget and financial matters. In his role, Rorke is responsible for the development and management of the conference's budget, serves as primary contact regarding any financial matters, and acts as lead liaison in external financial audits.
Rorke joined the staff in September 2020 as the Director of Business Services. During his time at The Big West so far, Rorke has handled many of the day-to-day financial operations, implemented new financial systems for the conference, overseen ticketing operations and served as event manager for The Big West's men's and women's golf championships.
Prior to joining The Big West, Rorke worked as the Assistant Director of Championships at the Mountain West where he serves as sport administrator for women’s soccer, women’s swimming & diving and women’s golf. In his role, he was the primary contact for coaches and administrators and managed budget operations for these events. While at the Mountain West he also managed player awards and gifts.
Rorke joined the Mountain West in 2018 as a partnership services coordinator for Mountain West Sports Properties (MWSP) and interned for the Mountain West before being elevated to Assistant Director. In his role with MWSP, he coordinated multimedia sponsorships while also assisting in the ticketing operations for the Mountain West Men’s & Women’s Basketball Championships. He also worked with various leagues’ officials to ensure payment and organization at conference events and during the regular season.
A native of Davis, Calif., Rorke graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Science in agriculture business. He received his Master’s of Business Administration with a concentration in sports business from San Diego State University in June 2018.
