The Big West is proud to unveil its 2025 men’s soccer conference schedule, featuring a nine-game format culminating in the 2025 Big West Men's Soccer Championships Nov. 5-14.
 
Non-conference action commences around the league on Thursday, Aug. 21. League play around The Big West begins Wednesday, Oct. 1, with all 10 teams in action, kicking off a nine-game, five-week slate. Each side will see two matches each week throughout the Wednesday-Saturday with the exception of the final week. Some of the premier matchups include:

• Wednesday, Oct. 1 (Week 1) - UC Davis at Cal Poly - The Mustangs, the 2024 Big West regular season champion, will host the Aggies, the defending winners of the 2024 Big West Championship. It is also a rematch of last year’s Big West Championship semifinal leg as Cal Poly looks to avenge its exit from last year’s postseason by UC Davis via penalty kicks.
• Wednesday, Oct. 8 (Week 2) - UC Santa Barbara at UC Davis - a rematch of the 2024 Big West championship final. The Aggies defeated the Gauchos 2-0 at Harder Stadium. Both teams made it to the NCAA Tournament, as UCSB was awarded an at-large bid and defeated UCLA in the first rounds.
• Saturday, Oct. 18 (Week 3) - UC Santa Barbara at Cal Poly - heralded as "The Greatest Rivalry in College Soccer", the Blue-Green rivalry has produced five of the top 10, and 17 of the top 25, largest crowds in NCAA men's soccer history. The two schools match up twice per season and will meet earlier in a non-conference game on Saturday, Sept. 27. The two teams drew to a tie in last season’s league matchup, while the Mustangs prevailed 2-0 in the non-conference game.
• Saturday, Nov. 2 (Week 5) - Sacramento State at UC Davis - separated by less than 20 miles via the Yolo Causeway, the Hornets and Aggies are not only local rivals, but conference foes as well in men's soccer. Playoff berths, seedings and titles may be on the line as the matchup will be held on the final day of the regular season. Last year, the Aggies defeated the Hornets 4-2. 

In 2024, Cal Poly won the regular season title with 16 points and a 4-1-4 record. UC Davis captured the conference championship as the No. 4 seed and earned the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Championship. The Aggies defeated No. 5 seed Cal State Bakersfield, 2-1, in the first round, advanced past top-seeded Cal Poly in penalty kicks and took down No. 2 seed UC Santa Barbara 2-0 for the title.
 
The first round of the six-team Championship will be hosted at the higher seeded team as the No. 3 seed takes on the No. 6 seed and the No. 4 seed hosts the No. 5 seed on Wednesday, Nov. 5. The semifinal round is set for Saturday, Nov. 8 with remaining top seeds hosting. The battle for The Big West crown is on Friday, Nov. 14.
 
Select regular-season contests are slated for telecast on the ESPN family of networks through the multi-year, multi-platform media rights agreement announced in 2021. Please check ESPN listings for upcoming game schedules and additional information.
