The field and seeds are set for the 2026 Big West Men’s Soccer Championship after Saturday’s three league matches to conclude the regular-season slate.
 
Utah Valley (10-2-3, 5-1 BW) is the regular-season champion and No. 1 seed in The Big West Men’s Soccer Championship and will host one leg of the semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 7 at  2 p.m. MT/1p.m. PT against No. 4 seed Cal State Bakersfield (5-4-7, 1-1-4 BW).  The Wolverines defeated the Roadrunners 3-2 on a rainy night in Bakersfield on the final match day to secure the regular-season title and top seed. Utah Valley had the best goal differential in conference games at +7, with a goals-against average of .80 and an offense propelled by midfielder Jose Luis Martin Montealegre (8 G, 4 A) and forward Nil Grau (3G, 6 A). Cal State Bakersfield defender Filip Arras and forward Oshea Foster have five goals apiece on the season. Roadrunner goalkeeper Nil Grau has an individual goals-against average of 1.08 with four shutouts in 12 games this season.
 
On the other side of the bracket, No. 2 seed UC Irvine (10-6-2, 4-1-1 BW) will welcome No. 3 seed UC Santa Barbara (9-5-4, 3-1-2 BW) to Anteater Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 7. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. PT. The Anteaters won the regular-season matchup 1-0 at home on Oct. 24, a two-week gap between the matches. UCI is led on offense by forward Gage Lyons (7G, 5A) and defender Brady Treinen is the top assister on the team with six. Anteater goalkeeper Scott Williams leads the league with seven shutouts and an individual goals-against average of 0.53. The Gauchos have a double-digit scorer in forward Steinar Bjornsson with 10 goals.
 
The finals of The Big West Championship will be hosted by the remaining top seed on Friday, Nov. 13, with David Gascon (play-by-play) and Christian Miles (color) on the call on ESPN+. The Big West champion earns an automatic entry into the 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championship. The 48-team field for the national tournament will be unveiled live on NCAA.com on Monday, Nov. 16.
