It is the senior’s first career weekly honor from the conference. Donahue started the week with a 1-for-3 performance with three RBI in a 6-3 win against UC San Diego, Thursday. The Mililani, Oahu, Hawai’i product hit a double in a 12-6 loss to the Tritons on Saturday. On Sunday, Donahue produced a 4-for-5 day, including a double and two home runs, with five RBI and three runs scored in a 13-2 victory that secured a postseason berth for the Rainbow Warriors. The senior hit a grand slam in the third inning and a solo home run in the fifth inning, and stole home in the seventh inning. Hawai’i finished the regular season with a 33-19 overall record and a 16-14 mark in conference play. Donahue is has a .279 batting average with 18 RBI and 21 runs this season. Pitcher of the Week Tyler Bremner, UC Santa Barbara | Junior • Right-Handed Pitcher • San Diego, Calif. UC Santa Barbara starting pitcher Tyler Bremner pitched 7.0 innings of shutout ball against Cal State Bakersfield to earn The Big West Baseball Pitcher of the Week award. It is Bremner's third career weekly honor, having won it once last week and once last season. In Friday’s matchup against Cal State Bakersfield, the UCSB righty struck out a career-high 13 batters in 7.0 innings of work, giving up only three hits, one walk and no runs. The Gauchos prevailed 10-1. Bremner struck out eight of the first nine batters of the game, with the only non-strikeout being a pickoff at first base, and faced the minimum through three innings. UC Santa Barbara finished the regular season 36-17 overall and 16-14 in conference play. Bremner is 5-4 with a 3.49 ERA and a conference-leading 111 strikeouts in 77.1 innings of work.
