• UC Irvine guard Kayla Williams is The Big West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week after averaging 23 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals in two wins. It is her second career weekly honor from the conference.
• Williams recorded 26 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals as the Anteaters defeated Cal Poly 67-66 Thursday.
• On Saturday, the guard from Los Angeles scored 20 points to go along with five rebounds, two assists and three steals in a 67-52 win against CSU Bakersfield.
