Hawai’i forward Amy Atwell recorded her first double-double of the season in a narrow 54-52 win over Cal State Fullerton to earn The Big West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week award for the second time this season. She previously won the same honor on Nov. 22 earlier this season.

The graduate student scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds with two assists, three steals and a block.

With the score deadlocked at 52-52, Atwell scored the game-winning basket with less than five seconds remaining to secure the win for the Rainbow Wahine.
