UCD's Stobbart Claims Final Women's Hoops Weekly Award

• After being named Best Defensive Player earlier in the day, UC Davis junior Sage Stobbart added to her day by collecting the last women's basketball Player of the Week honor of the 2021 season.
 
• Stobbart was instrumental in the Aggies' road split against Hawai'i, averaging 12.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 6.5 blocks over the two games.
 
• The post player nearly recorded a triple double in the game one loss, putting up 12 points, 13 rebounds and a single-game school record nine blocks.
 
• Game two was more of the same as Stobbart had another strong effort with 12 points, nine rebounds and four blocks as UCD clinched its fifth-straight regular season title.
 
• Stobbart leads the Big West in blocks per game (2.7) and her 32 blocks in 12 games this year are only seven shy of her 29-game total from a year ago.
