• UC Santa Barbara guard Doris Jones delivered two big performances in a sweep against UC Riverside last week, earning her Big West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honors. 
 
• Jones began her weekend with 22 points on an efficient 8-of-11 from the floor, which included both of her three-point attempts.
 
• The senior saved it all for the next day as she put up 35 points, 10 rebounds and a pair of blocks in 38 minutes. She shot 13-of-17 from the floor and hit eight free throws.
 
• Jones’ point total in game two was the fifth-most by a Gaucho in single game program history, matching Erin Buescher’s effort in February 1999 against UC Irvine.
 
• Jones now has three double-doubles on the year and has scored in double figures in all but three games for UCSB this season.
