Tago Earns Another Player Of The Week Award

• For the second time in three weeks, Hawai‘i senior Julissa Tago earned Big West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week accolades.

• The 5-foot-9 guard averaged 22.0 points in a pair of wins over UC Irvine and Long Beach State.

• Tago made eight three-pointers in the two wins and all but one of her seven free throws.

• She scored a season-high tying 25 points against the Anteaters on 10-of-21 shooting, including five three-point makes in the 94-70 win.

• She added two rebounds and two assists in 34 minutes.

• Tago, who has helped UH win five of its last six Big West games, contributed 19 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals in a 68-44 victory over the Beach.

• The Medford, Ore., native averaged 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists for the week.
