Hall Notches First Career Women's Hoops Honor

• UC Davis junior Cierra Hall secured her first career Big West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week award, averaging a double-double in a pair of conference wins against Cal Poly and UC Irvine.

• The 6-foot forward – the team’s Swiss Army knife – did just about everything to help the Aggies improve to 9-2 in the Big West and keep their one-game lead in the standings.

• Hall scored 14 points to go along with six rebounds, three assists and a steal in 26 minutes as UC Davis registered a 71-58 win over the Mustangs on Wednesday.

• Hall collected her second double-double of the season against the Anteaters, tallying 17 points and a career-high 14 rebounds in the 65-53 triumph. The 14 rebounds are tied for third in the program’s Division I single-game history.

• With five of her 20 rebounds coming on the offensive end, Hall now has 67 on the year, which sets a new Division I program single-season record in the category.

• The Cypress, Calif., native added two assists, a steal and a block in 30 minutes of action.

• She shot 65 percent (13-of-20) from the field for the week, and has shot 50 percent or better in each of her last five games. In extending her double-digit scoring streak to four games, she is averaging 16.0 points and 9.0 rebounds over that span.
