WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

• UC Santa Barbara freshman Ila Lane collected her second Big West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week award on the strength of two monstrous conference performances.
• The 6-foot-4 forward/center averaged 22.5 points and 17.5 rebounds as the Gauchos earned a 1-1 split. Lane secured her 12th and 13th double-doubles of the season.
• In a 67-57 win over UC Irvine, Lane posted a season-high 25 points and season-high tying 20 rebounds in 37 minutes. She added two assists, two steals and a blocked shot while shooting 12-of-20 from the field.
• Lane notched 20 points and 15 rebounds to go along with an assist and a block in a 63-51 setback to Hawai‘i. She made eight of her 15 floor shots against the Rainbow Wahine.
• Eleven of her 35 rebounds came on the offensive end.
• Lane leads the nation in total rebounds (286), and ranks second in rebounds per game (13.0) and tied for No. 10 in double-doubles (13).
