• UC Irvine sophomore Sophia Locandro earned her second career Big West Women's Basketball Player of the Week honor after leading the Anteaters in a tight loss to Loyola Marymount.

• The 6-foot-3 forward finished the game with 14 points and a team-best eight rebounds, six of which came on the offensive end. She also added an assist, steal and block in just 26 minutes.

• Locandro has now recorded 17 double-figure scoring games in her career and extended her streak of recording at least one block in a game to seven, a string that dates back to last season.

• The native of Australia currently leads the 'Eaters in scoring (12.5), rebounding (7.0) and blocks (1.5).
