• Cal Poly guard Abbey Ellis provided a career-best performance to lead the Mustangs to a win last week, resulting in her second-consecutive Big West Player of the Week honor.
• The sophomore dropped a personal-high 39 points in a road win over San Diego State, a total that included eight three-pointers.
• Ellis’ point total and eight made threes are both tied for third in the NCAA this season for single-game highs. Her performance was also seven points shy of the school record and five points shy of the program Division I record.
• The Yallambie, Australia native also added four rebounds and three steals in 35 minutes. Ellis also went 5-for-6 from the foul line to cap off her outstanding performance.
• Ellis now leads the Big West in scoring (20.3) and steals (3.2) while also missing just two of her 29 free throw attempts (93.1%).
