Samuel Goni had a foot in both Cal State Fullerton wins, leading to his second selection this season as Offensive Player of the Week.
• Earning his third career honor, Goni produced the game-winning assist in CSF’s 2-0 victory over Cal Poly and notched the game-winning goal in a 1-0 triumph against Sacramento State.
• Goni took over sole possession of the team lead in goals with his fourth and fifth of the year.
• The senior scored just 18 seconds into the second half as he took a thorough ball from Oscar Flores and beat the keeper to the far post. It was Goni’s second game-winner of the year.
• Goni took five shots for the week, putting three of those on frame.

PAUL-ANDRE GUERIN, CAL STATE FULLERTON – DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Paul-Andre Guerin registered a pair of shutouts – his fourth and fifth of the season – to earn his second Defensive Player of the Week honor this month.
• Guerin made a total of nine saves to help the Titans defeat Cal Poly (2-0) and Sacramento State (1-0) at home, which moved them into a tie for second in the Big West standings.
• The junior made three stops against the Mustangs and six more versus the Hornets.
• Guerin now has 13 career shutouts, putting him in sole possesion of fifth all-time in Titan history.
• He leads the nation in minutes played at 14:55.09.
