CONNOR CANNON, UC RIVERSIDE – BASEBALL FIELD PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Junior • DH • Riverside, Calif. • Temecula Valley HS
• UC Riverside junior Connor Cannon became the first player in league history to earn three straight Big West Baseball Field Player of the Week awards.
• On an offensive assault of late, the designated hitter led the Highlanders to a conference series victory over No. 6 UC Santa Barbara with a .500 (5-for-10) average – and four of his five hits coming via the home run. He slugged 1.636 for the week.
• Cannon’s four home runs gave him 33 for his career, establishing a UCR record and eclipsing the previous mark of 30. He has pounded 10 homers over the last 11 games.

• Cannon homered twice in Friday’s 9-4 victory for his third multi-homer game in as many weeks. He finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBI.
• The Riverside native unloaded a blast to straight away center to give the Highlanders a 4-0 lead, in a game they eventually won, 7-2, on Saturday.
• He finished with three hits, including yet another home run in Sunday’s 15-4 loss.
• Cannon scored four runs and drove in six for the week, and walked five times (two intentional) as he posted a .722 on-base percentage.
