Taukeiaho, the 2014 Big West Player of the Year, added her name to the Big West single-season record book in four places – runs scored (62, 1st), home runs (19, 2nd), RBI (51, 6th) and average (.429, 9th). She helped the Titans hit .300 as a team for the first time since 2000. Eight of her 19 homers occurred during conference play where she hit .508 in 21 games. Taukeiaho led the Big West in home runs, runs scored, RBI, walks (40), on-base percentage (.547) and slugging percentage (.851).
Glover is the first CSUN player since Christen Bedwell and Monique Lovell in 2004 to capture first-team All-West Region honors. The center fielder had an outstanding inaugural season in which she hit .368 with six home runs and 48 RBI. Glover, a top 25 finalist for the first-ever NFCA Freshman of the Year award, set a program Division I record with six triples and tied the D-I program mark with 19 stolen bases.
The nine all-region honorees are the most for the Big West since 2004, when 11 players were recognized by the NFCA.
