Unveiling the February 6 men’s basketball “wildcard” selections, Prime Ticket added Long Beach State at UC Irvine to its schedule, while the Cal State Fullerton at UC Riverside matchup is set to appear on ESPN3.

The 49ers and Anteaters tip off on Prime Ticket, the official regional telecast home of the Big West, at 7:30 p.m. (PT).  It will mark the fifth of nine regular season contests on the network.  Prime Ticket also carried the January 9 showdown between the two schools at the Walter Pyramid, resulting in a 46-44 UCI victory and ending the 49ers’ 26-game winning streak in conference home games.

The ESPN3 cameras head to the SRC Arena for a 7:00 p.m. tip that showcases another rematch of a league opener from January 9.  The Titans held off the late charging Highlanders and prevailed 78-73 on that evening.

Cal State Fullerton at UC Riverside will mark the ninth Big West basketball contest of the season on the ESPN3 platform, produced by the conference’s new mobile production unit that was launched in October of 2013.  The game is one of 32 Big West contests that the ESPN family of networks is carrying during the 2013-14 season.

Future “wildcard” contests on March 1 (ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3) and March 6 (ESPNU, ESPN3) will be revealed 3-4 weeks prior to the event.

Fans will also be able to catch ESPN3 contests online via WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app, and streamed on televisions through Xbox, Apple TV and Roku.  The service is available nationwide at no additional cost to fans who receive their high speed internet connection or video subscription from an affiliated provider.
