In fact, Williams posted his conference-leading 14th and 15th double-doubles of the season in Gaucho victories over Cal State Fullerton (66-50) and UC Riverside (56-46) that clinched the No. 7 seed in the upcoming Big West Tournament.

Against the Titans, Williams scored 20 points and added 14 rebounds, two blocked shots and a steal in 31 minutes.  He made 6 of 12 floor shots and 8 of 10 from the charity stripe.

In the regular season finale versus the Highlanders, Williams nearly had an identical stat line as he finished with 19 points and 14 rebounds.  He also swatted five shots to increase his season total to 64, second-best in the Big West.

The 15 double-doubles on the season is the most by a Gaucho since the 1989-90 season.

For the week, Williams also connected on 73.9 (17 of 23) percent of his free throw attempts.

Others nominated:  Chris Eversley (Cal Poly); Josh Greene (Cal State Northridge); James Ennis (Long Beach State); Will Davis II (UC Irvine); Sama Taku (Pacific)
