Huskers Bats Too Much As Pacific Falls 11-2 In Six Innings

For the second game in a row, the Tigers cost themselves against Nebraska, falling to the Huskers, 11-2 (six innings), on Saturday, March 13 to close out play at the Diamond Devil Invitational in Tempe, Ariz. The loss dropped the Tigers to 7-12 on the year while the Huskers improved to 13-11. For the tournament the Tigers went 1-3 while in Tempe.

UC Santa Barbara (7-16) faced a pair of non-conference losses to visiting Cal State Bakersfield (9-9) in a doubleheader at Campus Diamond on Saturday afternoon. The Gauchos battled back from a 4-0 deficit in game one, but fell 4-3 to the Roadrunners before being shut out in the second game, 5-0.
