Matadors Prevail over Aztecs, 5-4, in Extra Innings

The Cal State Northridge softball team (2-9) strung together three-straight hits to score the winning run in extra innings Wednesday night in a 5-4 victory over San Diego State. Christina Saenz, Jaci Carlsen and Jennifer Mosier all delivered with one-out singles to help the Matadors defeat the Aztecs and snap a seven-game losing streak.

Late Rally Falls Short at No. 3 UCLA

Cal State Fullerton scored five runs in the final two innings, but the Titans' late rally came up just short on Wednesday afternoon as host and No. 3-ranked UCLA held off hard-charging Fullerton for a 9-6 victory at Easton Stadium.

Aggie Softball Postponed Due To Weather

Wednesday's softball doubleheader against Santa Clara, scheduled for 1 p.m. at La Rue Field, has been postponed because of inclement weather. The games will be made up on March 11 as part of a doubleheader at 1 p.m.
