Vicky Deely came off the bench in both UC Davis contests and scored double figures, earning her Big West Womens Basketball Player of the Week honors.
In the Aggies 70-62 victory over Pepperdine, Deely drained 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds in just 21 minutes of action. She added three assists and one steal to her total.
Sunday against No. 15 UCLA, the Sonoma, Calif., native shot 5-of-11 from behind-the-arc en route to a career-high 21-point performance. She also notched a career-best in field goals made with eight. Deely registered six rebounds and two steals in UC Davis' 65-49 loss to the Bruins.
Deely has been the Aggies' leading rebounder in all four contests this season and was the team's leading scorer against the nationally-ranked Bruins. For the week, the 6-foot sophomore shot .571 from the floor and .538 from three-point range and averaged 16.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per outing.
