A career-best performance that assisted in UC Riverside extending its win streak to four last week earned Rhaya Neabors her first Big West Women's Basketball Player of the Week honor of the year. Neabors is the second Highlander to garner weekly accolades this season with Alyssa Morris named player of the week on Dec. 28, 2009.

In UC Riverside's 76-59 win over Cal Poly, the junior forward from Pomona, Calif., scored 12 points and went 4-for-5 from the charity stripe. She also added four assists and two rebounds to her nightly total.

Two days later in the come-from-behind victory over UC Irvine, Neabors tied her career-high with 21 points and shot 7-of-8 from the field and 3-of-4 from behind-the-arc. Her .875 field goal percentage was a season-high. Adding to her total, Neabors pulled down seven boards and notched one assist and one steal to help UCR clinch its fourth straight Big West win.

She has now scored in double-figures in the last four games. For the week, Neabors led the Highlanders in points (16.5), field goal percentage (.667) and three-point field goal percentage (.556).
