Tigers Stun No. 21 Cal Poly To Earn A Double Header Split
Behind a complete game from freshman Gabby McDaniel (Sacramento, Calif.) the Pacific softball team stunned No. 21 Cal Poly, 2-1, in game two of their double header to earn a split of the day's action on Saturday, May 2. The Mustangs took game one, 9-1 (5), to pick up one win on the day. Overall, Pacific moved to 18-30 on the year and 3-14 in conference play while the league-leading Mustangs fell to 34-10 overall and 14-3 in the Big West.

UCR Softball Splits With The Beach Using Come-From-Behind Victory in Game One
The UC Riverside softball team split with Long Beach State on Saturday afternoon in Big West Conference action at Amy S. Harrison Field. The Highlanders (18-28, 7-10) used a come-from-behind 5-3 victory in game one, but fell 4-1 to the 49ers (30-19, 11-6) in game two. The rubber match between these teams is set for noon on Sunday, May 3.

Gauchos Take Two From UC Davis
The UC Santa Barbara softball team (25-22, 8-9) posted a pair of victories over visiting UC Davis (21-29, 5-12) on Saturday afternoon in a Big West doubleheader at Campus Diamond. The Gauchos edged out the Aggies, 3-2 and 1-0.
