Junior first baseman Krysten Cary’s Big West Conference-leading 12th home run of the season propelled the No. 25 Cal Poly softball team to a 1-0 victory during the opening game of a Friday afternoon doubleheader against Long Beach State while a trio of 49er errors in the nightcap allowed the Mustangs to further their program-record home winning streak to 17-straight games with a 2-1 decision.

Tigers Earn First Conference Win, Split A Double Header With UC Riverside

With a 1-0 win in game one of their double header with UC Riverside, the Pacific softball team picked up its first conference win of the season. With the win, Pacific split the day's games with the Highlanders as UC Riverside took game two, 2-1, on Saturday, April 10. The split moved the Tigers to 16-23 on the year and 1-7 in the conference while the Highlanders moved to 14-23 overall and 3-5 in the Big West.

Big Innings Lift Titans to Doubleheader Sweep
