Titans Outlast Lancers in Eight Innings
Junior Sheila Holguin's sacrifice fly scored pinch-runner Sammie Dabbs with the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning to give Cal State Fullerton a marathon, 10-9, victory over Longwood University on Saturday night at Mayfair Park in Lakewood, Calif. Earlier in the day, State Fullerton freshman Morgan LeMond reached base three times - including slugging her first career home run - to help lift the Titans to a 3-1 victory over FIU.

Big Innings Lift CSUN to Saturday Sweep at The Worth Invitational
The Cal State Northridge softball team (11-8) defeated Portland State, 4-1, and Quinnipiac, 8-0 in five innings, Saturday at The Worth Invitational. Micah Putnam blasted a grand slam in the sixth inning against the Vikings and the Matadors scored five runs in the fifth inning against the Bobcats to end the game.

UC Davis Drops Pair At Stanford Tourney
Errors proved costly for UC Davis as it opened play Saturday at the Stanford Louisville Slugger Classic. The Aggies were defeated by San Diego State, 1-0, before falling to Penn State, 4-1. All but two of the five runs given up were unearned as UC Davis fell to 10-7 on the year. Julie Stauder drove in the Aggies' lone run of the day.

Gauchos Fail to Hit the Jackpot in Vegas, Drop Pair to Notre Dame and UNLV
