The second half of Cal Poly’s scheduled doubleheader at Shea Stadium versus UNLV, set for 5 p.m., was cancelled due to inadequate sunlight and will not be rescheduled.

Jaclyn Rymer finished the day a perfect 8-for-8 at the plate and Debbie Duran earned her league-leading 14th win of the season and nailed down the save in the second game.

LBSU Falls Short in Both Games of Doubleheader at No. 6 Arizona State
The Long Beach State softball team (19-13) dropped both games of its doubleheader with defending national champion and sixth-ranked Arizona State (28-5) Saturday afternoon in front of 1,323 at Farrington Stadium.
